Ok, I went to the track last night. there was a threatening thunderstorm peaking over the mountain to the west so I needed to get my run in fast, fortunately I was the first one in my lane. I was racing a modded srt-4. results are like this.
----------Mine--------srt-4
60 ft-----1.932-------2.430 It was lazy out of the hole, I only launched a 8lbs and the track wasn't hooking up worth a crap because it was cold
330------5.182--------6.183
1/8----7.882@91.06---9.206@81.09 There could have been more here, it was breaking up
1000-----10.241------11.827
1/4 ----12.296@108.12--14.42@100.51

It started breaking up bad at the top of the track it felt like I was hitting the rev limiter, I looked down and I was only at 6000 rpm there was no way, also my hatch opened up and was all the way open for the second half of the track it looked kinda funny LOL! This could have been my 11 second pass. I found out the stuttering was a relay that wasn't grounding properly and cutting fuel/ignition, I am going to reground this relay and all should be good for 11's next time.. Video will be posted shortly.

WooO!!!! Way to freaking go, Corby! I like the hatch trick. :thumb: I bet that scared the crap out of you when it popped open.

So now what are you going to do for a roll cage? :eyebrows:

Una

You should take it to the dealer and complain that the back hatch likes to pop open by itself when you're trying to do over 120mph.. haha..

It looks like you have a valve cover all welded up for an intake manifold. Whats up with that?

That's a custom intake manifold... boy was there quite a discussion on that. Everything worked itself out on that I take it, Corby? BTW - love the header.... sexxxxxy.

YEah, there was quite a heated discussion on that. And finally, yes, it did work itself out. fortunately. I was worried I would never get it. usps opened the package and marked it as "potentially dangerous" I fought with them for weeks explaining to them what it was before they would send it to me.

I love the stephane equal length header. Seems to make tons of power especially up top.

You know it has been a long, hard journey for me to get the van where it is today. Finally it's starting to pay off with some decent numbers. I tried a lot of things that most turbo dodge guys talked ---- about when I was talking about doing it, but it seems to have all been for the ultimate benefit. Soon, it will blow up, then, I will hate it again hahahaha.:thumb:

Again, I hear ya, :(

Just reringing it now, those piece of sh*t Total Seal rings chewed away at my ring lands but it should be ok until next year when the hybrid pistons go in.

Corby, well atleast you had the balls to venture into unknown territory. I like that.

I think anything pays off once you've accomplished your goals. You've got a fast-a$$ mini van! Get those twelves bro!

Yeah, I emailed the drag strip manager and asked him if he would let me do it, he hasn't responded.

He probably hasn't figured out how to respond to a man with a potentially 11 second minivan! :p

I still don't get the whole minivan thing, but I have to hand it to a guy that can run low 12's in one with a 4 cylinder. :)

Hehehehe, why? we can haul junk, carry kids, dogs, groceries, camping gear, sleep in it and still run 12's and 13's, :p No worse than messing with Omni's and SC's, ;)

I guess. I'm glad that I don't have to push a heavy brick through the air. :D Besides, I can do all you've mentioned in a Shelby Charger. I've even hauled bedroom furniture in my Shelby Charger. :p

It's not about how fast you go, it's about how you go fast. Nobody is impressed if your 8 liter Viper does low 12's, but a 4 cylinder van, WOO HOO!!:D

Exactly, the Sport compacts go up and no one watches until my van hits the line. My friend said he heard alot of the crowd go, "yay, theres that minivan" :amen:
