i took the R/T for another drive yesterday after i fixed the coolant leaks and i
plugged the waste gate back in.. and same thing happens- not even half throttle and the
gauge says im hitting, 19-20 psi, and that's 35-40 mph, 2 gear going into
3rd gear... is this for real?

im worried im gonna this motor up. im
putting on an A/F & pyro guage tonight.

can a stock motor hit those numbers that easily!?! also what do i check to find out why this thing is cutting out so bad ? im going to pull the codes (if there are any this afternoon), Fuel stays 50-55 psi... haven't beeen able to do a WOT test, cause it cuts out bad around half throttle. :banghead:

are you using a stock ecu? then the cutout is likely overboost shutdown if you are hitting 20+
sounds like you have a wastegate issue/vacuum issue

yea stock ECU, i've got the vacuum line running from the waste gate to the first soleniod, middle port.. is that the right one? also do these things come stock with an adjustable wastegate?
mine has one and is turned in over half way.. im guess this could be causing the large boost numbers?

yes, you want very little preload on teh wastegate arm
and an upgraded ecu wouldn't hurt....

k i'll screw that arm back out and see if that helps and see about an upgraded ecu.
