Front of block?

Hey guys, on the front of my 89 t2 block that will eventually be built for my S/C, there is a stud that sticks out. My question is, is that stud threaded or pressed. I transported the block from one garage to another a while back, and when it was in my truck, the stud snapped off. Is this an easily fixed problem?

Threaded in. Some go into the water jacket so it could be corroded or someone could have loctited it in.

For the alt bracket and motor mount bracket.

I had one snap flush on a head, cross cut it below surface with a tiny dremel wheel then got it moving with an impact driver and crosspoint bit.
