Just as it says. I need 89-90 Daytona Shelby front brake assemblies. Basically I need the knuckles and calibers. Pads and rotors I'm buying brand new. So I really don't need much.

Can someone help me out here? Car is gonna sit until I can get some brakes. It's not even safe now.

Thanks,
-Bryan

Do you prefer 10" or 11" ? They are pretty plentiful here.

I have 11".. But they are HEAVY.. They've got brand new rotors/pads, maybe 4,000 miles on them.. And they were the premium pads.. Stopped like a dream. But they're soooo heavy to ship..

got a set of front calipers and brackets from a 89 Shelby Daytona if interested. you could pick them up also.

I believe if its the 11 inch setup, the caliper bracket is part of the knuckle, so its not unboltable!

I have the 11" brakes off of a '92 IROC on my Lebaron and the caliper bracket was bolted the the spindle - matched up with my spindles which came out of a '95 Lebaron.

R/T 11" brakes have the bolt on caliper mount... the 11" Shelby ones do not.

Correct for 92, he said its an 89, :p so in that year, there are no boltable brackets on the 11 inch setup. 91 and up, you can mix and match at your hearts content, as Minivans also have the same brackets and can easily make your 10 inch brakes 11 inch without swapping knuckles.

The million dollar question.. Can you take '89 and earlier knuckles that had smaller brakes and bolt on calipers and bolt on the '92+ 11" setup to those earlier knuckles? Save you having to find a very short production brake setup to prevent you having to change the k-member to run the later knuckles..

Nope, not possible to mix and match the setups.

I would just replace the pads on the setup you have now and scout out an entire '91 front end/brake setup at the junkyard in the meantime. Then rebuild the whole shebang at your leisure with poly bushings, new ball joints etc..and install it when it's all done.

If the big brakes are common on the '91+ vans, find a '91+ kmember on any TD type vehicle (lots of 92ish TBI shadows at my local yard), grab that kmember and the knuckles off the van and your rockin without having to find the score of a century at a JY.. :)

Only read a few of the posts here, but I have a complete 89 GTC coupe that I am parting.
I really don't want to sell the brakes as I was going to put them on my other 89 coupe, BUT, need money so I will sell lol.

PM me for details. I am 1 hour west of Mansfield.
