Why the specific part number? Are you dealing with Smog Nazis?

No, not any smog Nazis. LOL! I just don't know if anything else will work. The part number is the one in the car right now.

LOL OK, well, if worst comes to worst, you can use other computers, such as the MP units, even a manual version on an auto and vise-versa, about the only problem you'd have would be the way the IAC holds the rpm, but if it means a running car vs a non-running car, any 86 and up T1 (log) LM would "work", just not exactly like you'd want.

Best of luck!

That one is for a high altitude car Jay. I don't think it would be good for me. Thanks anyway though. I appreciate your efforts.

I'd also be interested in a MP unit for my car if I can't find the factory one. It would be P4529873 P4452743 or P4452981. If anyone has any of these please let me know.
Thanks,
Frank

I have one. I was doing some research to post it on Ebay and found your post. It was in a running car when removed. The engine was used in a sand-rail with a FAST XFI, I kept it thinking someone would need it some day. I was going to post it for $50.00 plus shipping USPS $15.95

Please let me know if you still need it.

I have never heard of anyone having problem using different part numbers. As long as it is T1. Yes some ECUs were made for altitude or cold Canada, But those same cars were driven, sold, & moved across the country and borders. They didn't stop running.
