Accelerator pedal CLUNK during hard cornering? gas; turning; turn; noise;

Is there a common cause for this? Easy fix?

I feel a bang through my gas pedal foot. Doesn't seem to hurt anything so far but a little annoying.

Check motor mounts. What vehicle?

Check the battery isn't sliding into the kickdown lever.

Its a 5spd mini. Battery is secure. I'll check the mounts.

could be the inner axle joints, but you'd tend to feel that through the steering too.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have a somewhat similar issue with my 5spd turbo mini. It just started recently. On deceleration, when left in gear, say, 4th or 3rd at 25-35 MPH, the engine feels like its bucking really bad, much more than a normal manual trans. vehicle would. I'm thinking check the engine mounts or bobble strut? I haven't poked around under the hood yet.
