I'm looking at a 2005 Dodge Stratus with the 2.7 V6, and some mild performance mods are on my mind. 200 hp isn't enough, I need 215!:thumb:
What can be done to improve the induction system? Are CAI kits REALLY worth anything? Could I just drop a K&N filter in the stock airbox and get the same gains as a CAI? What size is the 2.7 throttle body, and can it be swapped to something bigger? What size would a 3.5 throttle body be? Porting ideas for the intake manifold?
And can the computer compensate for these changes and add a bit of fuel? Any 2.7 calibrations available?
I'll be doing a mild port and polish on the heads and exhaust manifolds too. And an exhaust system topic is in the exhaust forum.
