Hello :D

Have a seemingly odd question. if i took say an 85 t1 car and swapped the top end with a 2pc intake, could i still the '85 logic module?

thank you

Yes, but it wouldn't run properly due to the TII intake needing bigger injectors and it won't idle properly as the LOG uses's a different idle motor.

I do have +20% injectors and some other goodies :D Would getting a stage 3 cal from fwd help? or does the 2pc intake not work with batch fire? perhaps the logic module is designed to only work with a log intake? btw How have things been? been a while since we spoke :) hows the fam? :D

Familys great thanks, Jakob has been coming to my shop like 3-4 days a week this summer, lol. Shelby is getting big, wife is the wife, doing well.

All you need are stock 33 lb injectors, +20's aren't needed. You need a cal for sure and to move some pins around or do some rewiring.

Convert to TII wiring and be done with.

I thought log cars had 33# injectors?

Keep in mind if you go to TII wiring and cal, the in-vacuum timing is different. It will still run, just won't be ideal for idle and possibly cruise conditions.

Great Site :D thanks for the link! if possible i would like to try and avoid having to play with
wire swapping and would prefer a more "plug n play" approach.. also, why cant you use the
two wire idle motor with a non log intake? elementary questions i know but i appreciate the help :D

Simple, it won't bolt up the one piece throttle body.

Doesn't the Log computer run two cylinders richer then the others because of the poor design of the intake.

Yes it does.
