My walbro 255 craped out on me and don't wanna buy a walbro again.:banghead:

I need a good pump that will work with my 72lb injectors, and it has to be inline also. Anybody recomend one?

What about a Bosch 044

That should be an Airtex, in-line unit... Similar to the pt# 15763 we used to sell at NOS... In fact, that might be the very same pump, though ours had a 90* banjo on it. Good pumps, but not built to go inside.

Back when I still worked for Holley/NOS the in-tank pumps were Walbros, not sure if they still are. Here's a good one:http://www.holley.com/12-921.asp It should be a Walbro. The pump itself for virtually all the forced induction applications (255lph) are the same pump, but with a different "sock"/application kit. I know they dealt with Walbro directly, so there should be no question it's legit, and warranty should be an easier thing to deal with should the need arise.

Another one you might consider, are the stealth pumps from Aeromotive, they look pretty good, but to be frank, I have no personal experience with them. http://www.jegs.com/i/Aeromotive/027/11140/10002/-1. There are three inlet/outlet versions 11140, 41 & 42.

What about a Bosch 044

That looks like my S60 pump that craped out also, What is that pump out of a BMW or a audi?

Thanks for the info, i will do a google search on it.

Those Bosch pumps are pretty dang good, but very sensitive to debris, most were used as booster pumps for an in-tank unit. The precursor to the 15763 @ NOS was the 15764, which was supposed to have been the booster/external pump off a Porsche turbo, we dropped them when our cost went out of control, which is to say they stopped supporting the OE application (about 97). there are lots of variations of that pump... I even think Python could re-build them, assuming just the brushes went out...

Thanks for all the links, i need to fix my gas gauge so i just might get a intank pump. Guess what i just filled the tank too  Ohwell i was gonna fix the gauge when the fuel level was low, I have killed a few pumps in this car beacuse i had a UDP on it for a few years and the voltage with everything on was around 8 to 9 volts at idle. The S60 pump lasted 2 weeks and died also, i tried to return it at Dodge but they would not take it back because it had a P in the start of the part number for a "Performance item" i was even a tech there and that didnt help either.

3 years no fault warranty.

Flow chart shows the DW300 actually flows more than the Automotive 350 pump.

I think i will buy this one.

I wouldn't. Did you look at the chart in technical data sheet? Max psi is only 22psi...

Does the intank one work? If so, leave it and add an inline unit, that way you take the strain off the intank unit and it will last for years. I went that route, I have more than enough fuel.

TRE off Ebay, http://www.treperformance.com/FuelPumps/TRE255FuelPumps.html

Aeromotive Stealth 340 is another wicked pump that's a drop in.

I know that's not accurate, those pumps will make 90-100PSI, and in fact cannot make only 22psi without a by-pass regulator, Holley just has the tech data wonky.

That said, I also think there are better choices. The Bosch is a better engineered unit, IMHO, but otherwise the Aeromotive looks like it would/will be my choice for a High HP application...

I have the aeromotive one also. Just been slow progress on my car. Went in fine.
The one thing that bothers me is why cant these pumps have the same connector shape. I got lucky and got the pins out of the factory connector and got them into the one from the aeromotive one. I just don't like the idea of a wire connection submersed in gas all the time.
I also didn't use the line that came with as it had no spec number on it and I doubt it is rated for submersion

Wiring in a tank is no big deal unless you short something out, :eyebrows:

shorting something out is only a problem if the amount of oxygen is high enough to allow an explosion to occur:confused2:
i got the aeromotive 340 in my tank, mine took a bit to set up but its in there and im sure it'll work great, the turbine pump beats the g rotor style every time, flows more, uses less power, potentially less durable if it is allowed to suck in air, lots of good reviews, lots of bad ones by internet experts who like to think their word is gosphel and not to be tested, despite no tangible experience.

Wiring doesn't bother me as I work on it a lot at work. Just don't like unneeded connections

Well it was an easy install, I did not use the no name fuel line it came with either. I ditched the pig tail it came with and just used the factory wires to the pump and they fit rite on there perfectly. I pulled the wires off to see how good they were on there, pinched them down abit and reinstalled.

Well woth the $160.00 imo.
