Yep, He's been working on that for a while. He PM'd me on the club3g forum for a few Q's a while back. Still needs tuned IIRC, heck of a sleeper though.

Pretty cool, I wanna see how they're gonna get that boat on the rollers that seems to be waiting in line though :D

No doubt, I checked his thread on 3g occasionally; he is quite the fabricator and even though still learning he takes things on with a relaxed approach. Nice work indeed, good job on your part on collaborating with him. :thumb: Would not mind going 24V myself but find the 12V more than potent.

Yeah, he fabbed up a hydraulic actuator to move the A543 clutch lever on the trans so he could keep the original pedals, M/C etc. He also is running Megasquirt on it so he should see some good power gains out of that 3.8.

The 24v has its pro's too, more displacement options and right out of the box power but at the cost of fabrication of a motor mount, exhaust, and EMS solutions. I think it was worth it though, can't wait to see what my 24v 3.0 does Roots-blown...

Yeah the hydraulic actuator was nice indeed. I can't blame him; cable clutches can be annoying to work with sometimes. The 24V definitely opens doors for options. Doesn't the 3.8 put out about 230 CHP? Once he gets the tuning right the car will even be quicker.

This would be alot cooler in something other than an Avenger.

I think it would be a lot cooler if it ran right. I remember seeing that 1st video a while back and being underwhelmed.. it wasnt doing what it was supposed to. Im sure once it's sorted out, it'll be very cool.

I had 3.5/3.8 ambitions way back when i had my avenger and only one person had ever even done a 3.5 swap. Glad to see more people doing it, finally.
