Friend came into complaining his turn signals work intermittantly left side, right side ok, it has that stupid little cluster mounted switch, :banghead: So I took it apart and played with it, it isn't the switch as you can move the mounting bezel around and make it work, then not work. I tightened up all the pin sockets but its still doing it and now the head lights are intermittant, had to jam popsicle sticks in there for proper leverage. What causes this? Is is the connector or the actual circuit board?

Might be the switch... if the terminals are waving round inside due to being loose in the shell, force on the connectors moves them. If it's got staked in terminals, you could try a small chisel to clinch them in tighter.... carefully.

Them switches are just crappy... I sent my spare to BroKen years ago.

Its not the switch, its the connector or circuit board as you can move the bezel around and make the turn signals work and not work, headlights work and not work.

I have the same issue with my turn signals, I just push or wiggle the entire bezel to make them work. Silly stuff... got a full spare bezel at home from a yard to install someday. LOL.
