this is a 86 daytona z i,m doing a t2 swap on it. i know i have fuel pump can hear.but i,m not getting spark, at coil,need to check for power to coil ?

Are you using the distributor from the 86? If that's the case, I bet that's your problem.

I did a t2 swap on my 86 turbo z and when I messed with the pins in the LM the sensor ground pin pulled out slightly. That caused it to have no spark. I believe it is black wire with blue tracer.

i had to remove the oil pump it was not seated good, fixed that and now have power to + side of coil.what do i look at now.going to try a differant coil.any other help will work too. yes it a 85 motor and a 86 up turbo dist,

ok here is were we are at. i tested both of my HEP at work on daves/bryans van both were good, i now have power at + side coil/still no spark.have power to lm.from pm and have the 5 volt to map, i moved mine out side.i picked up my spare pm to take to work thus. any ideas would help.

Make double sure the LM connections are good and tight and not pulled. Cant remember do those connections have the plastic locks? If you did T2 swap and now it wont fire well thats the main area you worked on yes..? All grounds are connected?

tryed the 85 pm but still no spark lm connections look good ground are tight where to go now, by the way had a major stroke july13 feeling beter but still a a rehab place big psi said i still have a job when i get out will nomore in 2weeks or so. also tryed the 86 lm to see if i could get spark.
