I recently went to California to drop off a customers mini-van and pick up a Daytona for a friend. I don't like the range of the factory 22 gallon tank and I didn't want to pay California gas taxes so I installed a spare tank in my bed. I had a spare tank and pump out of a '98 Caravan I was going to use but it's only 20 gallons, short, and wide. So I went to the junk yard and found an almost perfect fit 26 gallon tank out of a '99 Dodge Ram. I used a spare fuel sender out of my truck, hooked up the aux fuel level sender to a toggle switch to read both the main tank and the aux tank, and a switch for the pump to refuel while I'm driving. The vent/rollover valve is plumbed into the factory charcoal canister. The aux pump is spliced into the factory fuel filler neck vent hose. I used metal T's and fuel grade hose. I don't want to become a rolling fireball.

I installed a clear fuel filter so I can see when the tank is "truly" empty because I'll see air bubble in the filter in my rear view mirror.

I used straps from a full size Ram van so I had the most strap for customizing. Uncut strap is on the bottom:

I folded over the strap like the factory for strength:
