I grabbed this poor car as it was sitting in line for the scrapyard. Couldn't let the engine go to waste! Anyway, I'm keeping the drivetrain for myself for one of my K-cars to gain the awesomeness of turbo power. Unfortunately, the original rims aren't on it, we just tossed the ones on there so we could roll it off the trailer and inside. If I get the rims (guy is supposed to give them to me... but we'll see) then I'll post them seperately. Alot of stuff on the car is still good, just not the body or the top fabric. Passenger rear 1/4 window mechanism is dead but driver side one works. Everything else seemed to work on the car and I think even the odometer is still functional! I can get more pictures as requested. Interior is tan leather, a bit rough but pretty much all there.

I'm looking for the side marker/reflector/molding assemblies. Can you take some better pictures or tell me if they are in good shape? One of mine has a "issue" and so would like to just get all 4. Attached is a pic of what I'm looking for.

I was able to take the back ones off, they're decent. Haven't messed with the front ones yet but they all seem good. I'll take a picture of them tomorrow.

I need the weatherstrip piece that mates with the trailing edge of the passenger's quarter window. It just pulls out of the top frame. it's this guy here:

Might as well pull ALL the weatherstripping if it's in good shape. The convertible unique pieces seem to be almost impossible to get anymore.

Sorry for delays with things! My daughter's birthday party is tomorrow and we've been frantically getting things ready so I haven't had really any time at all to mess with the car besides those weather stripping pieces for Hoverfish. After a very busy weekend I am back in action. I have not sold the brakes yet. I will check and see if it has the speakers but even if it does I have no idea if they work. As I'm sure you know the amps love to fail. I also didn't forget about the side reflector things... I just haven't ripped the fenders off yet (they're rusty on the bottom so they will be thrown in for the scrap bin) to pull those off yet.

I should be starting to dismantle the car more. Junk like the rusted out doors and fenders will be the first to get loaded into my Mitsubitchy Mighty Turd for scrapyard transit.

Hoverfish, your weatherstripping was stuffed into a nice big envelope thing and sent out to you via 1st class mail today. Please let me know when you get it.

Been really busy cleaning out my shop (have to be out by the end of the month) and haven't had the time to screw with the thing. Once everything is done, I can get back to dismantling it.

Okay, I'm back in action kinda sorta. I sold the front seats out of the car (they look so pimp in Paul Fosen's Town and COuntry wagon) so those are now gone. I'll be tearing apart as much of it as I can so if you want anything that has nothing to do with the engine or transmission (that's a key important thing there... I need the drivetrain for my car) let me know! I need that money so I gotta get back in gear haha.

I would be interested in all of the moldings along both sides of the car, including the doors, provided you can get them off without damaging them. I have an idea how you can get the door moldings off without causing the to ripple.

Okay, how's that? I normally use a gasket scraper and carefully get them to come off.
