Are the fuel pumps that rock auto lists unde the 2.2l turbo the correct pumps? I noticed that they have a listing for a ditributor cap for the same car.....

How far has anyone pushed the factory T3 pump?? Is it good for 350-375 hp?

IIRC, 400 whp sticks out, not sure I'd try it though, :eyebrows:

Glad to hear it. The one that speicfically mentions the DOHC is $200. I had hear that the neon's use the same pump?

Yes, the pump is the same, the carrier is TM specific.

Carrier?

The plastic gizmo/housing the pump sits in, :eyebrows:

Carrier?

the plastic casing thing. Some would call it the sending unit but it has no level sensor on it.

Ah so i wouldnt be able to just drop in a new regular pump assembly.
The lines ccming out of the existing pump are pretty rusted.

you may find a used one without a pump in the junkyard if you want to upgrade, but if you just want a stock one then just buy the whole assembly for the R/T at the parts store.

Tryingbe, I dont think they have an application that will work. The pump has a weird plastic nozzle mounted to the top of it that fits into a rubber grommet in the pump carrier.

Other guys have used SRT4 upgraded pumps on the later cars. I found this out right after I swapped my Dayotna to an 89 tank.

That might fit 89 and older.

I would hit the wreckers and you could find a new used one. 3.0L pumps are also the same as turbo pumps. Many times I'll scour the local pick a part and see new pumps, you could get one of those and then upgrade the pump if you wanted.

I'm just looking for a replacement. Im running stock boost but the pump in this one is pretty old (Maybe even original 208,000 mi) and im gonna replace it before it leaves me stranded.
