L-Body rack and pinion questions

Does anyone know if an 84 rampage rack and pinion fit a shelby charger? I know its not as quick of a ratio, but any reason why I couldnt use it?

"should" be fine, i know the k-frames are interchangeable. is it p/s or manual? if its a manual rack, then you would also need the corresponding coupler to attach it to your steering shaft...

It should... sometime in the later years of the Lbody, they changed the way the rack mates with the column.

Its a p/s rack I'm looking to use. The steering column mates with the rack fine, just forgot what the original rack looked like and wasnt sure if it would work
