I recently acquired a 420a OBX LSD from a friend for my A523. In searching around the web, I noticed my unit appears to be different from others I've seen. Specifically, here is a picture of an OBX LSD I found from a forum post back in 2006. The top sun gear (shorter of the two sun gears) has teeth sweeping left to right top to bottom.

The OBX LSD I have has a top sun gear (shorter of the two sun gears) with teeth sweeping right to left top to bottom. This is opposite from the picture above. Does anyone know if OBX has changed their design since 2006, hence the different gear orientation? Should I swap my taller sun gear (which has gear teeth sweeping from left to right top to bottom) to be on top? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think it was put together backwards. There is an article in the Knowledge Center that shows how to assemble it properly. I would post a link but I haven't figured out this iPad yet.
