87 Shadow turbo guage has got a burned out bulb in the "TURBO" side. How do you replace the bulbs without damaging the bulb holder?? These are the 2 with the wires coming out of them, not the 4 that just turn and pop out.
Thanks,

Case pop in half maybe? I really don't know but sounds like a ok guess.

IIRC They have little prongs which you depress to pull them out. I usually just yank violently and they come with no problems.

Probably safer to carefully take the gauge out and then access the bulbs from the inside. They are the same wedge base bulb as right next door.

LOL gotta love seeing you violently ripping a boost gauge bulb out but yet so gently pick berries from a shrub.

Are they like a #74 bulb?

It's like pulling off a band-aid. Do it fast and it'll be for the best.
