daytona hoods do not work 87 -91
90 and 91 are both different
but i know you can use 91 hoods on a 90 or vise versa
but cannot use anything older on either of the 2
87-89 was the same IIRC

Would you have a front engine mount bracket, that bolts from the block to the frame, that would fit my TI 86 Daytona?

I would but I need it for my 86 lol

Alright. I'm doing a trans job, and pulled the front mount. Just when I thought I corrected all the hack-job work someone did on this car, there was NO BUSHING! Instead, they welded a steel plate on each side where the rubber would go in, and had a hole drilled in the center! I have no idea what the advantage of this would be, or if anyone would want my mount, but I know I want a factory mount. I've got a new Poly bushing for it.

Ok, I found myself a mount. But now I have lost the little clip and bushing that holds the clutch cable on the transmission! Do you have one of these laying around? My car won't be stuck at my buddy's house where we are doing the transmission job, I'll just borrow the clip off my 5-spd turbo caravan if I have to.
I'm sure it will turn up right after I buy one.
Thanks,
Lee

Yeah I got one but it will be more than a week till it gets there... Your talking the metal peice?

Lee'sdaytona
05-13-2012, 09:19 PM
yes the metal piece, and the rubber bushing if you have it. Otherwise I will order from Johnny and Poly Bushings. But hold off for now. I think I clipped it back to the clutch cable (so I wouldn't lose it) and it must have fell off in the engine bay. So this tuesday when I go back to work on it, if I can't find it, I'll use the clip from my minivan and I'll buy yours.
Thanks!
