A555 to A568 shifter question?

MY 87 Daytona has a A555 in it, and I just swapped over to a A568. I ran the cables into the car, and have the new shifter as well. But When trying to bolt the new shifter to the current shifter bracket, one of the 3 studs doesn't line up.

Can I just simply redrill it and bolt it in, or are there more differences between the 555 and 523/568 shifter floor bracket?
On that thought, if they are different, does anyone know if the 90+ daytonas would have the same shifter braket as the my 87 even tho the interior is different? Or would any other cars work?

You have to redrill for it, no biggie. As for 90+ Daytona's have the same bracket, nope, as they stopped using the 555 in 89 I believe.

Ah ok, that's good news. Since they're not the same braket in the 90+ daytonas, would you happen to know if the old style centre console still fit back on over the 90+ bracker?
