ideas on paint?

since the motor should be in and ready to go sometime this weekend if not early next week, im looking for a couple colors to paint my car...

note that i drive an 87 dodge daytona, and the picture below is just a general idea of what it looks like now... it'll have a lip kit that goes around the entire car by the time i get it painted, and it already has gunmetal rims on it as well. the interior is like a greyish blue kinda interior so some of the colors i am thinkin about might clash.

recently ive been lookin at a couple factory colors from audi, crysler, and cadys...
so ive come up with the following colors that might look halfway decent. the pictures below are just cars with the colors that i picked, just to get an idea.


first off so far my personal favorite car and color combo audi 's S4 red

paul suggested this color, which im also partial to brilliant black crystal seen on alot of cryslers and dodges.

the third color is a color i absolutely love on cadys and might look halfway decent on my car with the gunmetal rims White diamond

out of the 4 colors which would you pick? if there are any other ideas for colors, which would you paint it?

White is cooler in the heat,and makes a statement by making no statement?? My car would be just white and plain looking but run like stink, but just my 2 cents. Great looking car anyhow, BB ps so little time so much to do :evil:

There is a dark metalic silver/grey that I have seen on a few new thunderbirds, it is sweet and would look great with you grey interior. Funny thing though, I don't think I have seen it on any other Fords... It's the color I've pciked for my Rampage:eyebrows: Paint and body are next on it's list-it's been six years to make it run right:o

so far im kinda leaning toward either the s4 red or the black...

I dont like the new black. I mean its black but it also looks kinda grey sometimes cause it is full of metallic. There is a new cadillac color that is pretty bad. Its a 3 stage its like an off white like the Escalade above but when the sun hits the side of the car the whole thing turns blue. Go walk areound some Cadillac car lots, its on alot of cars.

A nice black or grey,like a cady color I would agree to go walk around a cady lot and get paint codes.
