1987 csx #623

Hey guys I just thought I would let you all know that I am picking up csx 623 this Saturday up in Detroit that's right I am driving to Detroit from Harrisburg pa to go buy this Shelby. I have pictures of it but I can't figure out how to post them. It is all there minus the Shelby valve cover. It has also been converted to a a555 trans a 2.5 inch exhaust the engine is fresh. The rot isn't to bad just need to put in a rocker.

There's a shelby valve cover on ebay right now that's been sitting there for a few days. $175 isn't a bad price for it if your car's missing one.

Thanks a ton for posting those pics for me! I am going to be starting my journey to Detroit tonight. I will be picking up the car around 1200 on sat. I will be stopping at the Walter p Chrysler museum for some pictures with the car after I get it. Hell why not it is only going to be 30 miles away. I will take many pictures and videos of this 1100 mile round trip journey.

Have a safe trip. Are you thinking about a return trip in June for SDAC? The SDAC car show was at the WPC museum last time there.

It all depends. I may be interested in going back. I am really going to be hopeful to get the car 100% ready for the Chrysler show in Carlisle. I saw on sv-td that there was a gentalman that has a few csx's I am going to be trying to contact him and see if I could get some pictures of his two cars so I can get this one back in order. On a positive note I was just informed that this csx has a a555 trans and a moly bearing plate.

The only gentleman in the SV-TD crew is Craig and he doesn't have a CSX. The rest of us are rascals and ruffians (excepting Jen, of course).
Chryslers at Carlisle is a good goal, good luck!
