I more than likely won't be pushing over 12 - 13 psi with this.

Thanks!

It's a 1G DSM sidemount cooler and has gotten cars into the 11's in the DSM world. They are actually great intercoolers except for the 1.75" piping inlet/outlet, and reliatively small size. A mulitple core cooler utilizing these would be pretty awesome.

It should work wonders in your application.

Should work great I use one on my car and the previous owner ran 28 psi on it(alky injection too). I think it only had about a 2psi pressure drop from running the boost gauge off the turbo nipple before the intercooler to hooking the gauge up after the ic.

Better than nothing.

Really, no measurable pressure drop at all eh? :p

If it is cheap/free, run it.

If it is cheap/free, run it.

That's why I have it /\/\/\/\/\

This IC isn't even half of what I am considering. Here are the players in my IC field as of now ( that is - IF I can get the 600 running better )

#1 - The IC above.
#2 - 9" or smaller Thin ( Slim ) fan
#3 - Galvanized Sheet Metal Shaped into a "Cowl"
#4 - Rubber weather "type" of stripping
#5 - 3" or so hose to run from the stock air inlet on the fender ( to keep the computer happy and cool )
#6 - Various clamps and connectors.

Now, add those up and piece it together and what do I have? I don't know just yet but I'm sure that once I work the kinks out of it, it will CERTAINLY be unique :thumb:

Many have run the PM wiothout the air being drawn through it, myself included, and never had a problem. The general consensus is that if you are really concerned with frying it, put a little PC fan in there.

I have read from a reliable source that they flow the equivalent to a custom cooler made from 2 stock cores. As John said, I have run one up to 28 psi (tII turbo on a stock 2.2 with a 2.5" JRB exhaust) and only noted a 2 psi pressure drop. I'd really like to fab a custom cooler based on 3 or even 4 of those cores. It'd have to flow about like straight pipe.:thumb:
