forgot to add im running the 3.50 568 so my 5th gear is a joke with the 205 16 i was told a 24.5 would be nice and i did trap 106 (i think) if that helps

You haven't listed what size turbo, but the 23" slicks would be a good choice.

With the 3.50 gear it makes for a loooong gear, in my T2 Shadow I have run identical 12.89's @ 104 on both 23's and 24.5's (both M&H) and the car likes the 23's better cuz I dont have to hit it so high out of the hole to do it. On a sticky track I almost have to leave off the limiter or it will bog with the 24.5's. The car is pretty much stock tho. On a higher HP car, the 24.5's will make up for a crummy track prep. Either tire I don't use much 4th gear in the car in the 1/4.
What are you going to be revving it to? That comes into play too.
If you have to go into 4th anyway (at 106.. yes lol) you might as well use as much of it as possible. I'd go with the 23 or 23.5 unless you plan to try to get into the 11s with it.

With the 3.50's you want the short tires. I might know someone with a lightly used set for sale :eyebrows:
