Also, is 3/16" and 4.75mm really the same. I am actually looking for 4.75mm lines. I think the last time I purchased steel alloy lines 3/16" and 4.75 were slightly different. Also, does anyone know of a high quality flare tool for making metric double inverted flares. Most of the better quality metric flare tools seem to be for DIN(ISO/bubble) type flares. I was told I can use the 3/16" double inverted flare tool in place of the metric tool for 4.75mm line with double inverted flare.

No they're not the same. 3/16" = 0.1875" = 4.7625mm; and 4.75mm = 0.1870"

I'm being a smarta$$; 4.75mm is about as close as possible to 3/16"...

Got that stuff all over Mean Mini thanks to my little brother!
And i just bought a 25' roll for some brakeline repair on Slugmobile. I'm going to use that stuff exclusively from now on. Super easy to bend, never rusts, and flares easy. I never would have dabbled in stainless on my Chevy II if i knew about this.
The only concern i have with it is the possiblity/likelihood of galvanic corrosion from the dissimilar metals. I guess we shall see in time.
