I've acquired Christians transmission and converter from his white convertable Shadow.
He said the stall speed was around 4000, running his 2.5.
Everything I've read says brake stall speed should be 500 RPM lower than your
peak torque. Dyno sheets I've seen posted put the 2.5 running the stock roller cam at 3500 RPM. Correct?
I'm looking at having the converter reworked to around 3000.

My specs:
86 GLHT (2400lbs)
2.5
Heavily ported +1 valve head
Ported manifolds
Holset HY35
413- (swapped out the 1.06 transfer gears for a set of .91's)
FM converter

The only thing I question is the spooling the Holset, but the 9cm exhaust housing is slightly larger than a .63 housing
I just don't want to end up with a crappy combo I'm not happy with. Car will see street and track duty.

Thanks!!!

Keep it at stock stall of 3500 rpm, putting it lower will be fun around town but then you can have issues spooling the turbo at the track.
