It's okay to be honest but what does everyone think?

I am getting a trans cover as I am posting this.

Okay...just purchased a trans cover, radiator hard pipe and polished oil cap...all from JMB.

I have mixed opinions on this. I think it looks OK except for the mismatched blue SRT-4 strip, but that could be a lighting thing. It brings attention to the important parts and at least there's no chrome (chrome underhood belongs in vintage muscle cars, not anything post 1980).

A trans cover?

I was thinking about getting one, once you remove the airbox it starts looking a little funky, but I figure I don't work on mine hardly ever
and it's not a show car.

Yeah...the transmission cover just covers up the transmission after removing the stock air box and adding a CAI.

In person the blue doesn't look as bad as in the picture. I should have my wife take my pics because she is better at taking pics.

Thanks for all the comments..positive and negative.

Only think I don't "like" per se, as in, it would make me uncomfortable on my ride, is how close the coilpack is to the strut tower bar. I'd be worried about flashover, even with good wires. I might get a bit of split loom tubing to run along it or something... or powdercoat it... (Looks painted atm) .. just for some more insulation between the sparky stuff and grounded metal.

The strut bar is off the car as we speak and it's getting prepped for powder coat.
