For those that expressed an interest in the r/t traction control units! The units are undergoing final assembly and should be shipping in the next couple of weeks. Please have your $210 deposit to me preferably by Monday, and the balance can be paid when we ship, which should be the 2nd week in Feb.
Thanks,
Cindy

So without going through that drama thread - can you give us a recap of what this entails?

Basically it uses the rear abs sensor and the speed sensor to determine when traction is lost and retards the timing, reducing power so the car can regain control. Obviously done in microseconds....

Any update on these? It's really not a big deal because truth be told, I'm not ready to install anyway. But I do hope they are on the way because I really think this could be a great product for people like me that need the 'driver mod' as it doesn't come naturally!

They are ready. Just waiting on shipping to me which should be next week. And then the preorder people should be getting theirs the week after.
Thanks!

Got my TCS systems yesterday! Can't wait to try them out but it will be awhile because they are part of a huge project I am working on.

Got mine as well, did it come with instructions and software or were they a download from NDperformance/FWD Performance?

I didn't get any documentation or instructions with mine. At one point, there was a lot of information and support for this over on calibersrt4.net, but now that ND Performance is not a vendor there that section has disappeared. I'm not exactly sure but it almost seemed like there was a problem with competing products between ND and Realtune and since calibersrt4.net is basically a storefront/advertising masquerading as a forum for Realtune (my opinion btw), ND presence there was shortlived and all the info disappeared. I'm not sure if tech support or info will be available from FWDP or ND but I'm confident I can figure it out. The only thing I'm worried about is using a Windows machine/app at all because I'm a Mac person.

Hey guys - I've been in touch with Neil, who has informed me that the TIII TCS installation manual is now available at the ND Performance website. Here is a link to the TCS support and software page (http://www.ndperformance.com/tcs/support.html).

Yes, sorry for the delay, guys. If anyone gets better pics, please send them along, and I will update the manual.

What happened was that I took pics as the original install went along, and the computer dumped. It has taken me quite a while to catch back up. Big thanks to Vic in Phoenix for re-taking the pics for me!

is this something that could be added to a non-RT car? ie add an ABS sensor to the rear wheel, etc?

Edit:

From the PDF:
"It should be noted that this version of TCS was specifically designed for the Dodge Spirit R/T and Daytona IROC R/T 2.2L Turbo III cars equipped with ABS. It can also be installed in vehicles that have had an engine swap, so long as an 88-93 period VR-type (variable reluctance) ABS sensor is installed in one of the rear wheels. Likewise, a non-ABS equipped R/T and [probably supposed to be can] also add the rear ABS sensor. This manual will not go into detail on the installation of this sensor, as it assumes that the base car is a.) a SBEC controlled Turbo III car, and b.) has factory ABS installed. TCS will not operate without all required components hooked up and operational!"
