Strut Assembly changes 84 -85 to 86 + - Minivans

Does anyone know what changed on the strut assemblys on the vans and I also believe the cars from 84 - 85 to the 86 and newer vans? There are different numbers listed for springs, mounts and struts. It seems like it changed when they went from 4 lug to 5 lug but I dont know how this would affect the struts. Does anyone know if the newer ones will fit the older?

All 1st and 2nd gen vans SHOULD be the same, but cars, not L body's, they did change the spring perch location-and its a really small amount, it is documented on here somewhere, might have to search as we've discussed it before.
