Thanks. No real mods...only deviations from bone stock original are a daytona IC core instead of VNT IC core (didn't get the factory IC with the car, cut off Daytona brackets and fab'd P body brackets so it bolts in factory location), 2.5 inch exhaust with cat until hopover, where it goes 2.25", a superturbo muffler and a K&N drop in. Factory injectors, cal, manifolds, boost control, etc. Boost was steady at 11-12 psi.

I'm confident I could wring a 13.99 out if it on 23" slicks. The 24.5's are way too much for the power the car makes. I'd see improvements in the 60 foots and likely better acceleration through the run with the gearing advantage.

thats great. I have to get my 60's down for sure. trap speeds have been as high as 105, 103 consistantly though. that was with the a555.

the a413 has netted me a best of 13.89 @ 97 best time with a 2.10 60ft. I lost 4-7mph with the auto trans. had real problems launching though, either spin too much or would bog down, not used to an auto. I have only been running drag radials, but now have a new set of m&h 23's.

Yeap. That pass was actually on a stock cam too, took the F3 out (got it traded for some other stuff). It was also on 20ish psi because I forgot to hook up the wga lol. I tried to get a 16 psi pass so I could evenly compare times between the stock cam and the F3 at the same boost, but my g-valve was flaking out on me, and by the time I got it dialed back in, it rained out.

Had a few problems with my boost control set up and could only muster 21 psi in first and second but in 3rd and fourth i was just a little shy of 25 psi, next time im going to try 30 psi in all four gears and bump the ignition back up to 12 degrees, i dont know why but the car really has a serious bump in power above 28 psi, probobly the 60 trim getting into its stride so to say...

my lancer really woke up when the boost is turned up, now just need to dial out some fuel, a/f was 9.2. first run was 15psi, second was 22psi. Gained 91hp and 128 trq with a 7psi increase.

I thought I heard you broke an axle?? I guess not. I must have just missed you, i was in the stands until like 1:40 then i got the last run of the night at 2:20 am.

Oh, it's broken.. Well, I think it is. It's clunking inside the transmission. I have yet to pull it apart. I figured out what was wrong with the tune, fixed it, and ran that sucker one last time.

You ended up getting the last run of the night? awesome! I didn't pull back around after my last pass. I figured I was pushing my luck and I want to run the 6-12 midnights on oct 6

Oh, and I plan on an all out run.. I'm just going for the gusto and cranking the boost say, 20+ on race gas and see what I can get it to do. :eyebrows:

Nice MPH! Unles sI have an error, according to the times database, yoru current best is: Yes, previous times were from 2005. Would love the update. Decent traps, could have been better. Never raced all seasons with real power. Kinda pointless except to say I made a pass for the first time in 3 years! Funny to see Corby post up a great time but gets edged out on the top end. Hoping he gets a good all out pass but its good to have competition or at least not be the only one running these kinds of cars. Always dreamed of an all out pass at Corby's home track because the track crew there gets real grumpy and it would be great to have them mad over something so impressive! Hope he gets booted for no license.

18-20 lbs on 93 octane.... Car now has a ported exhaust manifold, Turbonetics turbo (I don't know the specs) .64 A/R, 2.5" swing valve, 3" downpipe, and a stock two-piece intake. Had to relearn how to launch the car without it bogging, but pulls
nice up top. Best MPH of the night was 83.93. I'd like to have seen 84.... 85 mph is a goal for the season.

Won FWD/Extreme class at a Fastest street car arm drop race. I was the only car in my class tho.. :p
There was another car and they were going to race us best out of three runs but it broke. So I ended up winning my money back and raced for free :nod: I had about 2.5 hours of open time trials and some good racing. They didn't show any times on the boards so no one would know your e.t. and you'd only get your half of the time slip.
Had quite a few people come up asking about the Daytona.

These cars sure are a blast at the track!

It would be better if I, myself could drop a few pounds :( Mods...well the big stuff, t3/t4 50 trim, powerstroke intercooler, forged pistons, bigger valves and some head clean up. Of course there are a few other supporting mods too, but we don't need to get into all the details do we ;)

I don't drive the van daily, but I do take it to work and out for a Friday night cruse or club meets.

Thanks Simon. It would have been nice to keep the van fully functional and drive it daily, but it was soooo beat up by the previous owner there wasn't much worth saving. The guy used it for hauling tools and junk around. Too bad no pressure tap, would have been cool to see what your drive pressure would have been compared to DJ's. Both 2.4's, both headered, similar boost but one with HX wheel and making quite a bit more power :)

Went out today 4^C. Still wont rev past 6 k First 200 ft of the track wasn't bad. first two passes were slipping and sliding all over the place . I tried the other lane and had much more success 11.27@ 108.77 1.589 60ft 6.989 1/8 th @ 97.64...still missing like a rev limiter is on. Made another pass 13.21 @ 73 mph 1.511 60 ft 7.510 eigth @ 77.04 skating all over..kinda exciting Hot lapped it 11.45 @104 1.55 60ft (shift into sec on launch oops) 7.136 eigth @ 96.17 mph . I turned the rev limiter completely off and changed the fuel in the a/f cells affected and still missed the same . Boost was between 16-18.9 psi

no pistons look fine, but im sure the rings are toast. I havent pulled it apart yet but last time i had the head off the pistons looked ok. just low on compression. I finished the year like that too, won 2 events and finished 4th overall in points at the local track.

no i have an intercooler. But i am having cut out issues (likely faulty ground circuit) so i was trying to avoit it wrapping out quickly with more boost. I tried 10psi, it ran slower. once the issue is figured out i def. see some mid-low 9 potential in it!
