135 sohc cam informed me he couldn't find any kits, called my supplier and I found 3 kits left, then that's it, your piecing them out bit by bit. They come with bearings, seals, the plastic slinger and synchro rings.

If your not in a rush, $325 with synchro's, if you want sooner, I have to pay shipping so that's on top of that.

Are you talking about the steel sliders or the brass rings?

Brass rings, that's what they ask me when I order. Haven't seen any other style yet, so maybe its rare?

Still waiting for the info 135, but based on other kits, it should be all OE specific. I have a 568 kit at work, its got the OE bearings and proper fork bits, blanking out on the name, lol.

I just ask and want to know for sure because from what I have seen online and posted here they can be very hit or miss on whether or not they include everything they should. Like they get assembled with whatever they happend to have leftover.

If your's is an 89 like it should be then you should not have an issue. Worst comes down you buy a kit for a 523/568 and you do a little swapping.

Many of the required parts have been and are being discontinued.
The 555 parts were unique and higher cost to manufacture because of Getrag.
The earlier Getrag parts are slightly stronger and slightly better in quality the later 'New Process' copy's.
Because of this and their production age, it places them at a higher risk of being added to the NS1 list.

Everything is discontinued.. There are no new parts to be had.

me and a few others are working to remedy part of the problem but it is a very slow process.

I am surprised the part supply lasted as long as it did - sounds like the final batch has been depleted.

Are you looking to duplicate parts, with your own supplier, or are you trying to have the original supplier continue at lower volumes?
It may be possible to work with the original supplier because the tooling is sometimes offered (given away) to reduce the bottom line.
In short, if the supplier now owns the tooling they can do as they please.
