OK, here is where we will put all the participants in the group buy for the tcs units.
The R/T based units will be $399 and this price is good until Dec. 25th, with units scheduled to start shipping on Jan 31st.
1. iTurbo
2.iTurbo
3. Cindy
4. Moe Quayum
5.
6.

This is the spot for people wanting to put down a deposit for a SOHC version of the TCS. Deposit will be $250, and the balance will be due at shipping time which could be 30-60 days. Final price is undetermined but likely in the $399-499 price for a group buy (not retail) but again pricing would depend on demand...(low demand higher price, large demand lower price....)
1. Trannybuster
2. speedfreak500

Thanks, I did a lot of research when you introduced this for the CSRT. Even though I decided to stay stock with that car, I've been waiting for this for the older cars (r/t at least). I would like nothing more than to pound my CSRT with the older cars I have hahaha. It's just not fair that this CSRT is so much faster right off the bat than my older cars so I gotta do somethin!

How long will you let the SOHC deposits run until? It will be after Christmas before I can swing anymore car purchases.

Wow, that looks awesome! I may have to buy this once I get my R/T tuned properly to where wheel spin is actually a problem.

OK, if interested and willing to put down a $250 deposit NOW, not in 6 months, then please call me at the shop. 281-288-4411. I will take all your info. I will wait until we have at least 6 people paid or 6 weeks whichever comes first, and then decide based on that. If Neil decides the numbers are worth supporting this application, then we will go ahead and bill all participants for the deposit at that time.

And to reinforce what Cindy said, from a technical perspective, this is a 100% sure thing - it will work as advertised. However, the work and capital outlay required to produce a product for a niche market has to be backed by real demand. If we get some genuine interest, I will retool for this effort.

Wow, nice attitude, good luck with the sale, I'll just figure something else out.

what is your problem? I don't have an attitude. If people want to get this going, great..... but it isn't fair to make everyone wait or to make the vendor spend a bunch of money to make a product and have it sit on the shelf waiting on someone that says they might pay months later. The thing about group buys is to generate enough interest and people together to get a project off the ground, It isn't fair to the people that contribute to get the project done, then give that same discounted price months later to others. if that was the case no one would bother to do a group buy.......

I'll post what I wrote up in the other thread-

Not sure if your aware but people don't have money, offering to sell it now doesn't help anyone, I suggested you post up a gauging interest thread, for say Spring, so people can get over Xmas etc and you come back with that, so its obvious your not really interested in selling the product, so I simply said I am out and good luck and I'll pursue a cheaper option.

Edit, who said you have to make it now and stock it? Neil has to do some software rewriting, so why does it matter if he does it now or in 3 months etc? You don't think I don't understand running a business?
