I'll see if an old buddy of mine in the auto salvage buisness can find one. If you are looking for Executive Limo parts at a junk yard make sure to have them look up the same model year New Yorker FWD, usually that is where the Limo parts come up. I wasn't able to find one on car-part.com but my friend might have better luck since he can get on the actual Hollander parts exchange system.

That would be awesome. I have searched to no avail. Please let me know ASAP. This is really the only thing from it getting on the road. Thanks.

Big D's Auto Salavage in Yazoo City Mississippi is showing a door glass, and a whole door. The phone number is 866-215-0241, or (662) 746-5589. If they dont have one, Joes Auto Wrecking in Mount Vernon NY is showing a complete RH rear door phone numbers 1-914-664-7874 / 1-800-322-5637. I would make sure when you call that they confirm the cars are actually limos.

1984

4339620-1 R/L stationary glass (sedan)
4339624-5 R/L moveable glass (sedan)

1984-86

4339954-5 R/L moveable glass (limo)

this is what's out of the part books

it says sedan but not Exec Sedan but assume it is the Exec sedan

there is no listing for the doors or the glass parts in my Mitchells crash books for the exec or limos

If it's in my neck of the woods i would be willing to help you out with picking it up. I even know a place that could probably ship it to you without breaking it.

I will keep my eyes open, but your best bet might be to look for a complete door.

Honestly I would buy both doors just because if a scrap car came around.

Kind of out-of-the-box, but...

Make a temporary one out of non-scratch polycarbonate. No Mar Lexan will at least get the car sealed and on the road until you can find a window. Frame-type door windows are fairly easy.
Make a template out of cardboard first, and there you go.

Last time I bought a full sheet (4'x8')it was $200...that was several years ago.The No Mar holds up well for years too.

A quick web search found this place. They'll cut you a chunk to order.
I'd call and make sure they can ship you actual 'NoMar'...

I'll keep my eyes open in the yards around here...good luck,

Or you can draw round the side you have and flip the template.

You know what I'm wondering... I'm wondering how close glass from a D250 or D350 crew cab is, from similar era.

I was actually looking into lexan as a option until I find the actual glass. Only thing is is that I would want the window to be able to roll up and down. What is nice about this window (from what I can tell from the other side) is that it is not curved a whole lot. So I think I would be able to roll it down easy maybe just rolling it up would be more tricky.

I "might" have found a company local to me. They make glass. They just can't make curved tempered. Now I think that they told me if I find a piece of glass that has a "close" curve that they can cut tempered. And I have been looking into the caravan side glass. Just don't know if they are deep enough to be able to be bolted to the regulator. Am going to this place tomorrow to find out what some options are.

And roadwarrior just googled images of the d250. Nowhere close. The back windows from what I can tell are about 31 inches long. But keep coming up with ideas. Something has to work.

I just looked again... gah, first time I looked I musta found some pics with weird angles that hid the rear quarter glass, looked like it was all one wide piece. I think minivan glass isn't deep enough.... unless you want just a fixed pane.

85boostbox

No I want it to be able to roll up and down. Will get measuremnts today if this place can cut tempered.

I'm trying to think of any 2 door coupe older vehicles that had a front quarter window... 2 door 4 seaters have long doors and wide glass...

Also Checker cab rear door looks almost wide enough, but dunno if it's got enough curve, or is in fact any easier to find, also needs trimming off the top.

Checker marathon wagon had squared up tops on the rear windows... again, potentially harder to find than the part you're trying to make it do for.

Well went into the glass place today. Lady made a phone call and they "might" have 2 available. I will put a deposit down since it is a special order item and they will get it in and i guess we shall see. I am really hoping that it is. Will keep everyone informed.
