Crikey! That's a big IC!

I take it the end tanks of the IC were designed like that for packaging reasons?

Jay, I think that's something you should look in to.

guessing it makes less then 1800hp if its in the shop for tuning. Thats a number that doesn't seem to happen too often. I agree those endtanks are wacky.

Crazy how the ram engine bay can make that motor look small.

i would bet that the intercooler is an aftermarket one for a cummins truck, the endtanks on the stock intercoolers look identical, same goofy shape to maximize cooling area in the frontend.

uhhh.... unless there is another truck identical to that one that thing is far away from those hp numbers, I saw it run in denver a couple years ago, then at the mopar show in st. louis, that thing, for some reason, is a pig

He's been having a hard time getting that thing to work the way it should for a long time. Last I knew it was making in the low 1000's when it was still a 6 speed truck. And yes, it is a Ram SRT10. I can't recall the name he went by on the VTOA boards though.

How is the tuning process going? Where is it that it's getting tuned?

Thanks for the pictures!

So far the truck only been driven in and out of the shop. Haven't done anything on it yet. The driver must be really tall as I can barely reach the pedals. I'll post up when work starts up on it, but what ever the power is now Chris will improve on it.

Those last two vids are a stick shift truck, maybe vids from before a trans swap?

You'd think 1300 ft/lbs would smoke those tires on the dyno?

In real life. The tires do have quite a large diameter and are probably pretty wide. Dynojets do seem to hook pretty good with that large textured roller. Some rollers lend themselves to not hooking up.

Ok, the third video explains alot, that dude should shut off the radio and learn how to drive a manual trans. I think he would be better suited in an automatic mustang.

Not knocking it but not even a hint of breaking loose. You see many high HP cars not being able to hook up on the dyno.

Jump to 1:16 for the good stuff.

Which is why it's at butch's shop for tuning now :) I agree that it doesn't run like you'd expect too.

There are alot of fast cummins trucks, still not impressive, the fast ones have 6-10 k in the transmissions alone, not to mention everything else.

???? it took 20 minutes for him to stage it for that??? I would have been pissed if I was setting in the staging lanes waiting to run.

Can't anyone tune anymore, that's enough fuel to kill a small army, :(

Agreed, he'd get his azz handed to him in a race, they won't let him sit there like that.

Still, looks like it has some serious cajones,

The truck was never worked on at our shop, it was being stored there till another shop had room for it ( which I found out after it left ). It's in the process of getting a standalone eng. management system. Had stock electronics in it.

I think thats why they have a special class they do take forever to spool, turbos that make 100psi generally take a lil while to spool

I said i would be pissed if I was setting in the staging lanes waiting for one of those P.O.S. to make a pass, same deal as jr. dragsters, I know several people that run them, not all 100 psi cummins take an hour to spool
