This has been my baby for so long and i wish i didnt have to see it go, but lots of stuff has come up in my personal life (parents are divorcing and we're moving, and on top of that last week my g/f of 3 1/2 years decided she wanted to go on "a break", so we are basically broken up and this sucks bad) But anyway, back to the car.

-1987 Shelby Z. No motor, no trans,
-RUST FREE!
-77,883 Original miles.
-Black exterior w/ sunroof
-Black leather interior from 86 laser. Its mint inside.
-Mopar performance stage 1 comp still in there.
-ALL underhood wiring is there. Shifter & cables there. All seloniods, etc are there. Power steering pump still there. All coolant hoses and even the brand new heater control valve are all there.
-No fuel pump installed, but a stock one comes with the car.
-Car is ready for a motor and trans to be dropped in and go!
I had a very built motor in this car, but took it out and sold it. I planned on keeping this roller for a while and redoing it, but i wont have space to keep it, it HAS to go.
Heres the only bad thing. The car was in a fender bender on the front driver side. It needs a fender, hood and bumper...I Have All The Spare Part Plus More! They go with the car!

So heres the details:
Exterior:
Besides the Fender bender, the body is very solid & straight. There is absoluty NO RUST under the car(it is undercoated from the factory) and there is NO RUST under the carpet (read about the interior below) The black paint looks great from 20 feet, but there are several small chips and a couple door dings. But there is no fading paint, it still shines. Like i said, a 20 footer. The passenger side fender is scratched from me leaning over it, but i have the spare to replace it anyway. The roof has a few scrathes, but thye could be buffed out. The car has rear hatch louvers, which are in good shape, but on about 4 of them there are small spots were the paint is chipping. It is black underneith too so its not very noticable.

Interior:
The original interior was tan cloth. It was mint, but i wanted a black-on-black car. I stripped the tan cloth out COMPLETLY. The only thing that was in the car was the wiring and haet/AC vent stuff. While all was out, i sanded down the very minor surface rust that was on the floor below the rear seats and in the spare tire well. I then painted the entire floor of the hatch, including the spare tire well. Just the floor though, not the sides. I also painted the floors were the back seats went. Then i put in the complete black interior from an 86 laser. It is VERY nice. I bought the Laser just for the interior swap. I would say the switch is only about 95% complete though. The car has the original tan seats still, i only left them untilli could find black ones in full pwer, but never did. The car will come with Gray Cloth entusiest seats unless you really want the tan ones. They are both in the same great condition. The car has the kind of seatbelts that attach to the door. You can see them in one of the pics. There are 2 on each side. 1 lap belt and 1 shoulder belt. They pull out from under the center shifter counsel area. The car will come with the tan ones in it, adn spare gray ones to mathc the seat if you want to install them. I also have the opposite ends for the seatbelts, the ones that the lap blet plugs into on the door kick panel are, and i have them in black, tan and gray. They all come with the car. I will include back seats in leather, but with the stereo system(see below) they wont fit.
So the ONLY parts you need for the interior to be 100% Are front seats in black,(if you want them) and Black seatbelts (if you want them) Also, there is special cut carpeting to fit around the shifter counsel area which trims around the belts, which you would need in black, (again, if you choose too). But other then that, the interior is complete.
ALSO—The headliner is NEW! It was done by a professional upholstery shop. It is very think padded and VERY nice. Both Visors are also re-done. They are MINT and padded nicely, no sagging, VERY NICE!

These pics show the old interior semi-stripped, then the new one while it was still in the Laser. I DONT have pics of the area i painted, but you can trust me that i did it. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2086441/8
Interior: Guages-
The car will come with the gauges shown in the pics. This includes an autometer 30/30 vac/boost(ultra light) in the stock location, modified my me, looks great. Also an autometer A/F ratio (cobalt series) in the AC/Heat vent right below the 2 guage pod. The 2 guage pillar pod holds Oil Pressure and Water Temp. Those two are Electrical autometer ultra light series. If you don’t want the gauges we can work something out, I will knock off around $150. See pics here: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2086441/9

Interior: Stereo System-
I made a custom subwoofer box to fit in the Daytona right in between the rear inner wheel well things. It is a 3.3 cubic foot ported box with one 15” MTX Thunder 6000. The sub is about 2 ½ years old but still sounds great. It runs of a sony amp, I think its running on 240 watts. The amp is mounted were the back seats usually sit, and a piece of wood on hinges hides it. The wood lifts up to expose the amp. See pics for this. The subs peak power was 900 watts, so it sould be a lot louder. I wasn’t really into making my ears bleed, I just like music, so I had enough to were it sounded good. There are aftermarket door speakers in the car, I think they are Eclipse or Infiniti or something, they were pretty good, but I think a connection has come loose in the pass side one and it crackles under bass, not a big deal, but a little annoying at times. Rear speakers are stock and sound fine. Two 3 ½” speakers are in the dash, they are planet audios and sound great. I can keep a head unit in there, it’s a pioneer, if you want, but a buddy of mine will buy it from me if you don’t want it. All the wiring is done neatly and hidden under the carpet. Its not a hack job at all.
The system come with the car regardless, since it wont just fit into any car. I will only take it out if someone else is interested in only the stereo and someone wants the car with out it.

Other stuff-
The car still has all the original suspension and all. The rear disc breaks are there and good. The E-brake doesn’t work however. Front brakes are good on the pass side, but the driver side need a brake job. Something is locked in the caliper maybe, or maybe a rock in there. I didn’t get to drive it long enough to find out what it was, but it sounds like metal on metal and the rotor is not In the best of shape. I have the spare knuckle & compete brake assembly for both sides, so the parts are there for fixing whatever that is. Those parts are also off an 87 shelby z.
Car still has the original 6.5”x15” crabs in good condition. Front driver side needs a good cleaning from all the brake dust coming off that rotor.
The tires are Khumo Excsta’s with not much tread left. They are 225 50 15’s, and handle great, but they don’t have much life left.
The Spare Parts-
-87 “turbo bulge” hood
-Front fenders
-from bumper cover w/ headlights & chin spoiler
^this is basically what you need for the body work.^
Then also-
-Both Side skirts in good condition
-Both doors, with the harder to find door attach seat belt option to match with the car.
-Rear hatch (NO spoiler)
--(^all the body parts are black, but very faded paint^)
-Sway bar, 1 1/4” I think
-Gas tank complete with fuel pump and filter and some lines, and even has the fill tube.
-All the weather stripping for the doors and hatch, in pretty good conditon
-Extra K-member
-Power steering rack with pump still there
-Stock rear springs
-Stock am/fm & cassette radio. Also have 2 sets of stock speakers which all worked from other cars when removed, plus I have the stock ones from this car.
- A TON of spare things for the interior, like speaker grills, trim pieces, bezels, ect.
Spare parts pics are at the bottom of these pics:
