My son has a 92 Daytona, blue/gray interior 3.0 6 cylinder, 5 speed that he is considering selling. Runs great. It is priced at the top end of you range. PM me if interested and I will respond with his contact info. Located in Williamsburg, VA.

Project unfortunately came to an end. Going back to school and needed a car that runs now and preferred a 5 speed. I also have a Dart 225 Slant 6 I am currently working on too so I no longer I have any room for another project. The 3.3L swap has been done already on another ES Daytona with good results and I gave some input on his swap so I feel like the door is open for anyone who wants to do it since there is good documentation on it now. Sold my Dynasty and getting rid of the red Daytona soon. Traffic levels in Fayetteville are getting congested and wanted a 5 speed sport compact (Dynasty felt more like a land yacht everyday) again so I just bought me a slick top 2.5 tbi 523 Daytona ES. Now I feel right at home. To be honest I had more fun with it than I had with my previous (even the turbo cars) fwd Mopars mainly because I have a soft spot for 5 speed G-bodies in turbo and non-turbo form. Reminds me of nights of riding in my friend's 1985 300zx and going through the gears.

That sounds like a hot ride but just purchased a 5 speed 2.5 Daytona ES from a choice of it and two Lebaron 3.0s. One Lebaron was sold and the other would not go down to the price I wanted so I purchased the Daytona. Thanks for the offer though. :thumb:

Well, clearly you havent been reading all the sport compacts ive been killing in my 5spd swapped dynasty!

Mine is a 3.0. The 5spd swap for the 3.3 is more expensive.. closer to $1k. Hard to justify that in one of these old cars, for sure.

Enjoy your new daytona. I daily drove tbi/5spd for years in my aries and loved it.

Yeah I saw that, that swap looks pretty sweet. Very unique. Would not mind a late model 3.0/543 Spirit/Acclaim personally.

Yeah, i think the spirit is a better car but im keeping mine 8v and turning it into an mpg project.. eventually. :(

Also you can always step it up and go TURBO 3.0 spirit as well.. here's one: http://www.turbo-mopar.com/forums/showthread.php?57088-The-Holset-he341-3.0L&highlight=

Except don't put a few random race car parts into the cylinder heads of your Daily Driver...
