4323958 is the casting # on a T3 rod.

Is it possible the T2 and T3 rods were the same???

Actually it may be a t3 rod then, are t2 and t3 rods the same with just a different p/n?

TII and TIII rods are identical except the TIII rod got stronger rod bolts.

1989+ T-I rods are the same, too...

So basically all common block turbo motors have the same rods...

Yep. TBI uses's a weaker rod and a pressed in wrist pin.

Almost! (Simon does know this... he's just not thinking it through totally)

They are basically what we used to call the T-II rods. 1st introduced in 1987 in the '87 Dodge Shelby Z T-II motor, then again in the T-II Dodge Shelby Z for 1988. Then, when the common block motor came about, all T-I, T-II, T-III and T-IV motors got that rod.

(not to further confuse you... but the 1986-1988 *Shelby* T-II motors did NOT have these rods.)

Its just easier to say all 89+ turbo engines got the same rod, no confusion that way.
