Another guess the ET thread.

I previously ran a 13.72 at 96.7mph with a 1.93 60' running slicks, using the stock T3 turbo.

Since then I've upgraded to a T3/T04E 50 trim, with a S2 turbine wheel and a Super 50 comp. wheel, a 2.5" SV, a brand new MP O2 sensor, ported the head and intake manifold runners, and I'm looking into a Super 60 cam.

Are 13.1's possibly in my realm with traction?

In my experience I think it's possible, but the stock i/c is really killing me. I might have a deal on a Saab 9000 I/C though.

-Bryan

It all depends on the tune, boost, how extensive the porting is, and what intercooler you plan on running. Just get it together and you'll find out soon enough. :)

I'm willing to guess though with a brand new MP 02 sensor, you should be able to attain that time, easy.

Forget the Super 60 cam. It's a paperweight.

Dave,
I'll say 13.9-14.0@98-99 mph till you get a convertor. (hope I'm wrong)

You'll probably get yours together and running before I get my problem figured out.

Greg, the converter is fine. It worked great before I took the head off. Not to sound ----y, but I know that's not the problem.

Anyways, new setup now, check the sig. Shootin' for 12's. :thumb:

Greg beat me to it, until you get the converter fixed, I say same time as before or higher. Agreed with Fleckster, don't even bother with the Super60 cam unless you want bits of metal floating around your engine as the cam self destructs in a few weeks. If you really want a cam, run the S2 or run the stocker then install the S2 and do back to back runs.

Bryan, new set up is looking good:thumb: can't wait to hear how it does.

I think I ended up with a 13.0 or 13.1 with the stock turbo before it let go.
Switched to my T3T4e 50 trim s2, and though I would see big gains right away, got me a 12.9, now granted I did see a nice increase in mph, but this turbo is a different animal to tune run the numbers, compared to the stocker.

Greg, thanks for the compliments. I must say it feels faster at 15psi than it ever did at 20psi. I'm floored by the difference this combo. has made.

I really can't see how the TC "somehow" went as soon as I put the head back on with the T3/T04E in the T3 cover. It was working great before. Weird coincidence. I'll take it to Rob's and see what he thinks.

When I get my boost issues solved I'll let you know. We should be pretty damn close.

I don't think your TC is bad, just will not be able to get you out of the hole as well. It did great with the stock turbo, but with the big hybrid? I had issues with mine, some have, some haven't.

Ah, but you have a 5spd so that doesn't help my thoughts much. As of now I can only build 3psi with brake torquing.

One more time, if your cam timing is bang on, your TC is

JUNK

Bryan,
My information, relative to your topic, is based on my previous car. 87 Daytona Shelby Z that I converted to an auto( ran it as a five speed and then the auto), with t3t4E 50 trim stage 1. I know I have been there.

I have a video of mine at the track some where, talk about sounding like a jet trying to take off.

Bryan,
Uploaded the video to my gallery, sorry don't know how to link directly to it in the post.
