so i unfortunatly blew another turbo last week, while swapping the old one out i decided my old custom swing valve just wasnt doing it for me any more, plus the flange had warped and had a bit of a leak

so after a couple hours this is what i threw together with ---- in the garage, its all made from a piece of 3" 304ss unknown wall pipe, hooks up to the stock exhaust via band clamp and a section of 3" ss flex pipe

i had to modify it slughtly from the pictures, i found the outlet was pointing almost directly at the crossmember, so i angled the outlet further back

anyways, here is the new one

 Pwned. Looks nice, I think it will flow much better. BTW there's nothing wrong with an exhaust leak after the turbo. :thumb:

I'm thinking that looks pretty damn good!

So, everytime you have to unbolt the swing valve before you can pull the turbo/head? No thanks. I'll break those bolts everytime!

No. You undo the band clamp (presumably a V-Band Style). Very easy to unattach.

I would definitally suggest getting the v-band clamp setup. Thats what I went with on my new setup and its so much easier to deal with than the stupid stock spring loaded bolts. Just one nut needs to be loosened and the downpipe pops right off. Very nice looking downpipe though, should defintally get some good flow out of that.
