ive got a computer out of a "1992" lebaron with the manufacturer date of 4/91, its a 3.0l 5spd car, i am trying to find out if the computer is actually an sbecII so i could use it in my own daytona for a possible 5spd swap, or if its an older sbecI and the car is incorrectly identified.
the part number on the case is " 477 8009" i had a look in the list of part numbers and the closest i could find was 477 8008 (1992 gpj..body 3.0l v6 mtx)..
please help, thanks, shayne.

p.s. my current computer (1992 daytona, 3.0l v6 4spd atx) pt # 467 2128, also not found..

pretty sure its a SEBCI, SBECII didnt come out until at least 92, I cant remember is 92 or 93 was the first year. I have a couple SBECII 3.0 5 speed ECUs here and I think I also saw one for sale here recently.

i bugged the crap out of a tech working behind the parts counter, and he relented and let me poke around in their library of obsolete parts in the micro fiche junk. the computer i have seems to be sbecII according to what i learned today its is a succeded part# to the one i found (*** 8008, hence why mine is *** 8009..) in the list someone has written up. the tech also said the giveaway is the fuel rail as the sequentially injected sbecII cars got a rail that feeds gas in one rail and returns i out the other, just like my own car, also just like the parts donor. plus the mtx computer has three heat sinks like my atx comp.. so i think i have my answers. thanks for your help and insight though murphy. (the tech said that 92 was the first sbecII year, but they were manufactured and readied for delivery starting in march-april of the previous year aparently)
