Installed a 2 piece TU rail into my car, and used the stock regulator.

Machined the TU fuel pressure regulator adapter down by .125 inch, since the block was machined for an aftermarket fuel regulator.
Bought 6an to 5/16 hose barb adpator
2 feet of 1/4" fuel injection hose
2 feet wireloom

Installation was easy with all the needed parts, definitely easier than installing a stock 2 piece fuel rail.

not saying anything is wrong but Chris pictures the adapter on the passenger side of the car.

With an aftermarket fuel regulator.

There is only one direction you can put in a stock regulator into that adapter block. If you put them at the passenger side, the return hose will point to the wrong way.

Beside, if you put that return at the passenger side, that means you'll have to get a 180 degree 5/16 to 6-an adapter for using a fuel injection hose and good luck finding that.

You mean like these 180 degree fittings?

6-an male end to 5/16 hose barb, other wise, you'll have to buy another fitting in between.

I know. If it were me, I would have a NPT to AN fitting in the thing so I could attach the 180 degree fitting.
But, I under stand what you are saying Harry. There are many correct ways to do it. I like how yours came out.

FWIW I don't think you will technically be able to pass tech with that length of hose on there like that. I doubt anyone would fail you for it, but you never know.

Most techs don't even bother open up my hood to look at it.

The reason we installed the adapter on the passenger side on our site was because the regulator was adjustable. If you are using a non-adjustable version like Harry you can mount the adapter either side since it is smaller and there is no need to have access to it.

BTW- Thanks for the write up Harry.

Nice job,

Might want to snap your throttle cable guide back on, its riding on the plastic rocker arm, ;)

The autozone wireloom is no good, and melted.

Bought this wireloom instead.

Thanks for the link. I'll keep that stuff in mind for future projects where high heat is anticipated.
