Can anyone help me figure out what this noise is coming from? When you place the car in the forward gears the transmission makes a rumble noise, as you accelerate the noise gets louder. At first I was thinking it was a wheel bearing, but the noise comes evident prior to the wheel even turning? Could it be a mount? The transmission makes no noise at all under hard acceleration in reverse. The car will sometimes misfire a little at idle as well. Does anyone have a clue what the noise might be? :ballchain:
