The other day I was under the GLH and noticed that both outer CV boots are split. It must have happened within the last 2 months, so I know the axles are still good. I'll probably just replace the boots even though new axles are fairly cheap. My problem is that I have never taken an axle apart before. Is there a thread somewhere that explains the process, or will it be fairly obvious once I completely remove the boot?
