View Full Version : Quick "Where does this go" question

I've got this connector dangling in the LF corner of the Daytona's engine bay, and I can't figure out what it goes to. The braided sheath suggests that it may go through the radiator support to something in the nose, but I'm not sure. It doesn't go to the horn, headlights, foglights, or temp sensor for the overhead console display . . . what else is there? I've got everything on the engine connected.

What color/size are the wires ? looks like the connector for the fan motor on my 94.

It doesn't look fat enough to be the fan connector IMO. How about the air bag connectors.

The connectors are the same between my '91 R/T and my '94 Acclaim. The '94 simply was easier to access to take pics of.

The later fan connectors were an actual plug on the motor. Not that 2 way trailer connector like the older stuff.

DOH! Yeah, it's gotta be the fan, which I obviously don't have in yet. AC is accounted for, airbag sensor is accounted for.

outside temp sensor? although it is usally infront of the radiator on the left side, looks like that connector.

They all look similar but the little molded in keyways are all ever so slightly different just so you cant mix them up.

I know. It just looked quite small in his hand in the pic. I actually have the newer style connector on my 90' Shadow now since I went with a later model rad.
