I intended to make a post earlier informing everyone of the additions/changes going on here at our facility in Arizona but things have been quite busy for us lately. The Chryslers at Carlisle event was extremely successful for us this year. Between sales at the show and the increased website sales that usually follows we have managed to ship out much more then we initially anticipated. We had to return temporarily to Phoenix to replenish our inventory and to catch up on a few orders that we could not get out from the road. With the Dyno/Lift, Chryslers at Carlisle, SDAC-16 and the hiring/moving of new employees all taking place within a few weeks of each other, it has been quite a challenge for us to stay on top of everything. We apologize to those of you whose orders may have been delayed during this time. Once we have returned to our facility in AZ we hope to be all caught up within a few days.

ADDITIONS

Staff
We have recently hired on 3 new employees to assist in many of the day-to-day operations including Shipping, Receiving, Administration, Inventory Control, Custom Fabrication, etc. This will expedite order processing by having dedicated employees assigned to those duties. It will also allow us more time for the R & D, testing and procuring of new products so they can also be added to our website. As many of you know, we have many products in our line up that are not on our site yet, but will be included soon once our new employees have been fully trained in their positions.

Facility Expansion
Back in April we laid the foundation for an additional 750 sq. ft. to our existing 2000 sq. ft. facility. See attached photos. The addition on the north side of our building was poured on the same day as our Dyno floor and it is dedicated to custom fabrication work. We were fortunate enough to acquire a fabricator with many years of experience in the aerospace industry. The quality and standards required in that industry is much higher then in the automotive world and his attention to detail in his work reflects the many years he spent at Northrop-Grumman.

Facility Equipment
As many of you already know we purchased and installed an in-ground Chassis Dyno at our shop the beginning of this year. See attached photos. The Dyno will be used to further enhance the performance gains of our existing products and also to help us fine tune the many new ones that we are currently working on. Our goal is to provide documentation on the TU website that reflects the "TRUE" performance gains of our products. We want our customers to feel confident in knowing that when they select TU as their vendor they will never have to be concerned about fictitious or unsubstantiated claims confusing their purchasing choices. The driving force behind our decision to make these investments was to solidify TU's presence, dedication and integrity within this community and to continue to set ourselves apart from our competitors as a leader (not a follower) in everything we do.

SDAC-16 ATTENDANCE

As of right now we are still struggling to make it to Topeka but it’s not looking good. Issues with the truck and trailer have caused unexpected delays in our schedule so I’m unsure if we can get there before the end of the event. If we can’t make it I may consider other options including flying in.

CARLISLE AND SDAC SPECIALS

For those of you who missed us at the event(s) we have added the following specials to our website:

It's In the Hole!!!

Once we have returned to Phoenix and caught up with our existing orders we will have the dyno up and running. The lift has already been installed in the big room.
