I've picked up some new wiring sockets for the fuel injectors, but they didn't come with the rubber boots on the back, or any form of weather protection at all. Naturally, mine are baked and crumbling. Where can I find new ones?

Hit the wrecking yard. I used Quad 4 injector connectors, they are sealed internally as well.

"Back in the day" on cars that had a dizzy right behind the grille, that used to misfire in wet weather, due to badly sealed caps and wires, rubber went hard quick back then, you'd get a rubber glove and snip the ends out of the fingers, feed all the wires through and seal it like that...

... so I'd figure if function is the object, I'd just get some thick industrial rubber gloves, cut the fingers off, keep 'em tight with zip ties...

Heatshrink tubing. Did you order the ones I did?

I used the complete connectors off a mid 90's 4.0L Jeep. They are gray and sealed very well.

I was looking for something as close to factory appearing as possible. Guess I'll keep digging.

Try checking for replacements for old Corvettes? I think they used something similar.
