So, I'm building a 'Stage II' cal for the TIII; my intention was to go to 14psi boost and adjust the fuel and spark tables for that boost level. But, then I realized that @224hp, the TIII is proabbly maxing out the injectors stock (at 11psi boost).

So, what's the general consensus about the TIII's 34pph injectors? Stock boost only? Or can they take 14psi? I don't want to build a cal that runs out of fuel. Personally, I would have thought that 224hp really warranted +20's to begin with. But, then, the TIII safely runs a little leaner than the 8V engines.

I have run 14PSI on a stock cal and injectors many times. I would just make sure that the knock sensor was a good functional unit when doing so. The WB always showed low 11s-high 10s at 14ish PSI on the stock stuff with a stock turbo.

Since THE expert chimed in - what is the A/F at the stock 11psi boost? The TIII fuel table is setup to go 100% duty cycle at ~6000rpm and boost over ~8psi. But, what kind of A/F do they run at 'normal' RPM's?

I ran +20s to 18psi. But no a/f gauge to tell you what it was.

I wish I could say I remember those days. But, that's the thing about sleep deprivation - you forget what it was like to not sleep. :)

I was pretty much stock just running the cal you made me for 18 psi Rob. Stock turbo stock injectors. Just bigger FMIC with 2.5" piping, afpr, stock pump and i was sttill rich and only got to 1600-1700 degrees tops at WOT full boost for several seconds at a time.
