Windage tray screen / 5" weld on hinges.

Hopefully this will cure my oil pressure drop in the corners on the track.

that won't work well enough you need tighter clearance between baffles and pan. you also need fore and aft oil control. are you doing right and left? I've mastered oil pan designs for lefts.

I did something similiar but with tigher clearances. You also might want to make something to prevent the doors from opening to far and getting pinned up with oil slosh and also add a baffle for fore/aft floshing as stated above. Pictures are in the what have you done to your car lately thread...page 111 post #2203

FWIW, mine works great. No issues during hard autocrossing (including braking) and I run a bit of extra capacity of the BS pan with no BS and a non BS pick up.

I used a 3 quart Morose oil acusump model #23900 along with a engine oil cooler for a 8.5 Qt oiling system for long track runs. Mounted acusump behind front bumper for access to handle to lock 3 quarts under pressure before shut off. Cold start oil. Worked very well, but costly in plumbing parts. Braided hoses and Russel hose fittings.

Thanks for the info, I'm also adding a 3 quart acusump at the same time. I might have to redesign the pan once again and tighten up the clearances. I was just too worried about the hindges getting stuck and not letting the oil get back to the pickup. I would also like to add a turbo oil drainback shield.

Here is one I did as an idea...

that's ok for left turns but hard rights, you'll loose oil off the pickup.

I re-position my pickup tube so it is on the passenger (front) side. then i put baffling around the perimeter of the pan and a dam perpendicular with a door (like the previous post).
