quaife diff for 555/568

I'll give you a few suggestions:

Not many people will be willing to take a chance on someone with a low post count and/or someone that is unknown to the community here. #2) you didn't post this in the "For Sale" section #3) you have no information about yourself (which would be outlined in your FS thread template)

Post pix and as much info as you can, and you'll get better results on your next attempt.

ps: people are frugal here, so a decent price will make them rabid

i have a low post count because i just found this web site i've been out of the shelby thing for must be 10+ years now but i use to go to the sdac events in the day , mopar nats , foward motion events , and cliff's cecil events i knew i had a diff somewhere but i didn't find it till i moved my old 555 it was on the shelf behind it i didn't know if anybody was still doing this or not i'd lost touch with everybody i was hoping someone could put it to use rather than it keeping dust of my shelf

Not doubting you had one, or had a history with these cars. I was just stating you'll get lots more people interested with a better description of what you're trying to sell. And for the record, lots of people still want these.

What are you asking? i was thinking $750 being local i also have a 555 with the chromemoly end plate installed i'm not shipping that thing but if your interested i'd rather see it being used or parts of it used rather then it sitting around or scrapped

I think it needs to be pointed out that the Quaife for the 555 is NOT the same as the Quaife for the 568. Quaife didn't make one that was interchangeable between the two.

WHAT? Since when? I've deff swapped diff sections from 555 to 568. Are you sure you didn't mean the Quaife for a 520/523 isn't the same?

I must be confused then. I've always remembered the diffs being different between the 555/568. In fact, I thought 568 used the Neon Quafie while the 555 used a different diff?

As far as I know, they make a specific Quaife for the 555/568 (same diff 3:85 FD) They do Not make a quaife for the 520/523 But, the Neon quaife can be used with a shim.
