No its a real supercharger rather then fake like the vast majority including the movie car.

And how in the hell can you not have watched these movies and call yourself a car guy :)?

Mad Max was on the other day. I was upset when I didn't have time to sit around and watch it. The clutch on the supercharger is a funny idea.
